The Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Republic of Belarus held a celebration on the occasion of the National Day, which was attended by a large number of officials in the Republic, most notably the guest of honor, His Excellency Mr. Yuri Seliverstov, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Belarus, as well as His Excellency Mr. Evgeny Shestakov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Alexander Naumenko, Deputy Minister of Defense of Belarus. It was also attended by members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the Republic and a crowd of guests representing various segments of Belarusian society, including intellectuals, officials of scientific bodies, representatives of religious organizations in Belarus, university heads, deans and professors, directors of government institutions and businessmen, in addition to a number of heads of sports federations.
